what i've learned

that people inevitably let you down.
that i believe lies too easily.
that my imagination often gets the better of me.
that i lie to myself.
that i'm cutting it out of my life for good.
that loneliness hits even me.
that i'm the cause of all my problems.
that dogs are better big spoons than boys.
that yelling never gets anything accomplished.
that crying makes your eyes tired.
that prayers sometimes take a while to be answered.
